16 years old I beleive. Minimum requirement in Utah.
East side of main Street at the 500 South block
Labor Day is always our last day.
Actually we are closed for the season. See ya this spring!
I passed by the other day and they had the sign out saying they were closed for the season.
She's the one and only!!! 😉
Unfortunately the cheeseburger was just marginal. The hamburger patty tasted like it was one of those premade ones that you get at the grocery store. But the bun was amazing, probably the best hamburger bun I've ever had and the fry sauce was really good too. I'll give Granny's a second shot with something different from the menu but if I'm craving a burger I'll look elsewhere. Oh and the staff was great, super nice kids working in there.
Granny's has terrific shakes. Burgers and sides are good.
Great shakes and great service. Had a Death by Chocolate and really enjoyed it. Thick and delicious Nicely accommodating the Covid distancing requirements.
Heard such great things about this place. But needless to say it was very disappointing. Hamburger was flavorless the meat was like a doughy bun the only thing I could taste was the pickles and ketchup. It was like the meat was thawed out then not cooked throughly. I will say the the onion rings were full of flavor and tasty. But when you stop at a place like this you expect the burger to be the best part of the meal.
Fast Service! My daughter doesn't like hamburgers and She gobbled it up and said "Mmmm yum" she loved the bun which was a very soft Potato bread like bun, WE LOVED the fries as well seasoned perfectly!
These shakes are always so good. I agree that the mini size is indeed the best size. I wouldn’t want any bigger. It would be overkill. The raspberry shake is so good. The raspberries are fresh and give it freaky good flavor. This is a favorite stop every time I am around Heber.
This place is way over hyped. The food was edible but nothing special. Imagine a burger that is just slightly better than what your elementary school cafeteria serves but you're charged $8 for just the burger. You'd be better off just getting your own food from the Costco freezer section than paying their premium.
The raspberry shake was really good, however the Snicker's shake really sucked. We got a fire roasted jalepeno burger and that was really good! It has really good sauce and the burger was moist. We also got a bacon cheeseburger and that sucked. In both burgers the bun was really dry. Onion rings were great
I was excited to try Granny's drive it. It looked like a quintessential small town local restaurant. The food wasn't bad. I got a Western burger and it wasn't quite as flavorful as I'd hoped it would be. The shake was large and very good. Overall it just seemed very overpriced. The prices didn't seem unreasonable until I was paying over $15 for a burger, fries and shake. Like I said, not bad, but there are other places I'd rather get a burger that are a better value.
Delicious burgers and shakes! The handmade patties are juicy and delicious! The fries are perfectly crisp with the perfect amount of those or special whiskey salt. Onion rings are the bomb! The portions are way bigger than we could eat. Fun little drive-in in a cute town. Great way to end a day of winning baseball games.
Awsome shakes and food, definitely will go again next time I'm in the area
Awesome burgers, great shakes! My Cherry Cordial shake was the best shake I've ever had. ❤
Just how I remember it when a was there a few years ago. great food and friendly people.
I have liked Granny's since I was a kid. It's always a must do when passing through Heber. Great thick shakes!
I had a friend who talked this place up, woefully disappointed, undercooked burgers, unsalted fries and some chicken strips. This place has never heard of seasoning .
Decent food. Way over priced. Dairy keen is better for less.
I loved it, such a cute little place. We were luckey to get there in time, right before closing at 8. They were very accomidating for my desire to have the death by chocolate topings mixed into a vanilla base.
Very good burgers and amazing shakes. Their servic isn't the best but only because there is a lot of people there ordering food. Very good food and also nice people at the window. Also good spacing for the tables. 👍
Terrible. Shakes that were completely unmixed, nothing but syrup in the bottom of a cup with mediocre ice cream poured on top. They touched the blender merely to make it look like they were fully mixed. Burgers that are overcooked and completely unseasoned with toppings that had seen better days. Onion rings that were nothing more than oil sponges. At least the fries were still good.Don’t know what happened to this place, I used to recommend people go here for the best burgers and shakes in Utah. Now? I would rather spend $50 at Burger King than get a no flavor piece of boot leather between two pieces of stale bread.
Shakes were highly recommended by a friend and I enjoyed the thickness and freshness of the four berry shake. Mini was the perfect size for us especially considering we had burgers too. Friendly service. Ordering was different than I was expecting and I enjoyed that. They complete your fries and shake before your burger. That’s the way it should be! Dessert first ha ha.
Great service, location, and shakes. Awesome fries and the onion rings are fantastic. Hamburger bun (random - I know) is the best around but the actual burger meat is quite disappointing. Seems to be the prepackaged type that you can buy at Costco with no real flavor. Hopefully they can upgrade the burger meat soon to create the perfect go-to spot in Heber.
Hamburger was fantastic, shake was amazing (death by chocolate was the perfect combination of chocolate ice cream with chocolate mix ins), and the fries are good all the way to the end of the meal. Those who don't like cold fries know what I'm talking about. They were all gloved and masked during COVID-19 precautions. This was my first time, but for sure not my last.
This place was ok. The kids and I were all excited to try this place with their "milkshakes" while we were on our roadtrip. It's basically a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I was a little bummed with the Mint Oreo. Not mixed very well and hardly any Oreos.
I am amazed that they have stayed in business. Horrible food. Soggy burgers. I had a piece of bone in my burger that almost broke my tooth. Burnt onion rings. Dried up French fries. Price is OUTRAGOUS for what you get. Charged $7 for a cheeseburger that was no better than a $2 cheeseburger from McDonald's.
I adore the shakes. The burgers are good too. I wish it was open all year.
Good shakes and onion rings. Okay burgers and fries.
Great food. Good quantity for the price also!
Really good stuff. The shake we got was amazing, the fries are good, and the ranch burger was tasty (though the meat didn't seem very high quality). We'll be back!
Good shakes, and fries burger was underwhelming. For how much the burger coat I expected just a little bit more
Great place to go eat after boating or hiking. Great outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed so that is a plus. Great shakes and great burgers. Give them a try, you won't regret it.
The shakes are very tasty! I love the create your own option, and they are huge!
Shake was amazing. We ordered online it was ready 20 minutes earlier than the website said so the burgers were cold. It was nice to receive a text that it was ready but we were still leaving Park City. Pro tip- be there 20 min earlier than estimate. Very friendly staff!
Great burgers. Great Utah style shakes. Great service. Absolutely 10/10
Awesome shakes, great fries... Burgers were 'meh'. Wonderful atmosphere, they were very covid aware.
We took the kids here for their 1st time. They were not disappointed. You can have 3 mix-ins for each shake. Every shake we ordered was large and overflowing the cup. There was a long line but it was well worth the wait. You get what you pay for here unlike other shake restaurants. Can't wait to go back!
My sister from arizona and I stopped after coming over the alpine loop, it was awesome little pricey but og my gosh it was good.
Plenty of shaded seating and parking. The food and shakes are so good!
Epic shakes! No idea how anything else is but it smells delicious and if they are as good as the shakes, you're in for a awesome meal! Shakes are soooo thick that they stand up three inches over the top of the cup, which is the only way a shake should be, as far as I'm concerned. You can tell the staff actually enjoys what they do, place is clean, cozy, and right in the heart of town. Definite must-stop if you're anywhere on the Wasatch Back!
Went out of my way to try this place and it was worth it. Peanut Butter and Banana smoothy was perfect. Burger and Onion rings were great as well
Went here on 7/24/20 I used to love this place. The burger meat was awful cheap frozen premade patties that were just chewy and honestly gross. Fries are now these shoe string type coated in seasonal. Shakes were not good. Mediocre at best. This place used to be amazing. Now its terrible. Avoid it's not good.
Always have to stop at granny's for icecrewhenever I'm near Heber. I tried their food for the first time this year and it's really good too.
Fresh and hot every time. And I love the shakes.
Shakes were good but nothing special. Large average ice cream.
Granny's is our post- lake trip family tradition. The food was great (burgers, onion rings and fresh raspberry shakes). This was the speediest service we have ever received there. (Normally there is a significant wait)
They have delicious shakes. I have never been disappointed by their shakes, except that my favorite wasn't on the menu this last visit.
I happened to be in heber and remembered this place from when I was a kid. The shakes are fantastic. Some of the best I had ever had. I had the fresh raspberry shake in the picture. The burgers are pretty good, but nothing to go crazy about. I’m not a heber local but I get the feeling from the dozens of people crowding the porch eating shakes that the shakes are the main attraction, and for very good reason.
Food was great, service was not. Two orders from two people in our group were bother missed. No salad for me and no onion rings for our friends. When told about the onion rings being missed, we were snapped at, so we didn’t even want to mention the missing salad. Basically these were missed on the orders and we didn’t notice it when we paid. We figured for two burgers, O rings, drinks and small shake for $34 included a small side salad. Pricey to say the least. 4 stars for the food and they did bring our friends rings, but made feel like we lied about it. That was our feeling, not what was said. We probably won’t be back soon.
Order the shakes! I got the Oreo Cheesecake and was not disappointed
The shakes! That is all that matters. The food is fine. But I have never gone there specifically for the food. It has always been an afterthought or secondary motivation. But, if you like thick 'Blizzard' style shakes, this is probably my favorite. They use real ice cream, so you don't get that weird syrupy goo when your shake starts to melt. The mix-ins are great, and there are a lot of options. I am partial to 'real cheesecake bites' and they do not disappoint. Some people don't like the ordering process, or the lack of space on busy days (any day that the sun is out), but I think that is part of the experience. I also love the drive up the canyon. It is not close to SLC, but Heber is great. Bring your hiking shoes or paddle board to Jordanelle and make a day of it!
I can only comment on the ice cream which was very good. A small was big enough for almost anyone.
